LSOF: Hmmm….

That is what I have to say, Hmmm….

I loved Beth Moore’s post today on the LPM blog, but I couldn’t help reading through everyone’s comment, that I didn’t really feel I needed to say anything to it.

I mean maybe saying AMEN is sometimes good enough.

I AM so glad that people were blessed by it, but I don’t know, I saw such an overflow of ” That really helped me” and as awesome as that was, I also felt a big warning sign.

Does that make sense to you? I am not trying to be judgemental, its just what I felt when I went to the page….

Let me know what you think. I could be just crazy, who knows:)

  1. Thanks for the comments on my blog! It’s nice to meet you. I too read and commented on the LPM Blog today. I think I get what you’re saying. When I left my comment, none were posted so I when I went back to see other’s responses, I was floored. Can’t speak for others, but I know for me it echoed what God had already shown me in my quiet time with Him earlier in the morning.

  2. Hey you! I can see what you’re saying…when i read it, because of where I am right now, I just started to cry, so that was what I wrote, and that I love Him…short and sweet and honest. He did speak to me through it but I would rather give Him the glory for what He revealed in me through the post, honestly I think Beth would want it the same way…did that sound harsh? It wasn’t meant to…..I think sometimes we can get too caught up in the deliveree instead of the Deliverer….loves to ya!

  3. Well, all I thought about is how at my church I almost dont feel like I have a place to fan into the flame. It is amazing how stuck people get on curiculums that ther is not room for the Spirit. I have not read any of the comments yet but I was left feeling like man I want to serve Lord but where. I taught for seven years in the singles ministry and God cleary called me out of that and I am waiting on Him.

  4. I didn’t really see it as a warning sign, personally. Beth so rarely writes things like that on her blog–“message from God” type things–that I’d guess God timed it for a time when it really would speak to a lot of people, you know what I mean? And either way, it’s the type of message that I think a LOT of Christians need to hear, so to me it’s not surprising that a lot of people posted comments like that.Love ya, girl! Have a good night!

  5. agreed!but i gotta say it anyway.and, look on the brightside, if everyone else thinks the same thing, then we must be normal!!! that’s affirming to me sometimes. he he:)blessings

  6. Hey! Thanks for the comment. I do see what you are talking about! I saw her comment as God speaking directly to me through her-but it could have been anyone’s blog or sally at the grocery store. It was a truth that I was crying out to God about. It was so timely for me and my life. I was surprised at how many people it touched though. I wonder about the realness of that but many believers could be at the same place. I have been around many discouraged people lately. I think this is a time of sifting for many. God will refine us that way. He also will provide the encouragement as well. When I commented there were no other comments on there. I felt like God gave that word just for me! 🙂 I am glad it helped others too. I am sceptical sometimes though of other peoples sincerety. Like at the women of faith conferences where like 500 people come to know the Lord on one day. I just find that hard to believe. But that is another topic all together. Thanks for your honesty and sharing your heart!Blessings,Angela
