LSOF: A knock on my heart

” Knock, Knock, Knock, Knock, Knock…”

I awoke.
I wondered what time it was, if perhaps I had missed an appointment with a friend, or maybe it was the next night and time to go to work…did I sleep all day?

I felt for my cell phone, and opened it to see it was only 4:25am.
(I had also seen a direct message via Twitter from some of you people;)

Anyway, so I sat up. It was a loud enough knock, and it was clear that it meant business.
But who?

The last part of my dream that I can remember is pouring orange juice into a glass for my mom.

So I’ve been sitting here thinking about it.

Was this knock from God?

I’ve been really soaking myself in the Word, praying, and most conversations with close friends have been all about Him….so why would He knock?

Perhaps to let me know, that He hears me. Hmmm…

I really don’t have an answer, but I can tell you it was a LOUD knocking, and even now I still have my heart beating fast from it.

What about you? Have you ever experienced something such as this, or different? Go ahead, share your experience:) I’d love to hear it:)

Be Blessed:)

Some ” knock” verses:

2 I slept but my heart was awake.
Listen! My lover is knocking:
“Open to me, my sister, my darling,
my dove, my flawless one.
My head is drenched with dew,
my hair with the dampness of the night.”
(Song of Sol 5:2)

Ask, Seek, Knock

7“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

(Matt 7:7)

36like men waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him.

(Luke 12:36)

20Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. (Rev 3:20)
