In John 4:46-48
Jesus returns to the place where He turned water into wine and an official had a child who was ill,
and he came running up to Jesus begging Him to come and heal his son.
And Jesus says to the man, ” Unless you people see signs and miracles, you will never believe.”
The man asked, ” Please come before my child dies.”
And Jesus said, ” You may go. Your son will live.”
The man left at once.
It took more than watching Jesus heal the man’s son right before his eyes…He had to to have faith that Jesus
would do as He said.
We can see all the signs and miracles in the world, but I purely believe people have an “addiction” to wanting to see them,
because when they suddenly ” don’t ” they don’t know how to go about life…
It’s not just about seeing miracles, it’s about BELIEVING in them…and that you aren’t always going to see them happen in your lifetime.
Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do amazing things among you.”
(NIV)
5Then Joshua said to the people, “(A)Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.”
(NASB)
5 Then Joshua addressed the people: “Sanctify yourselves. Tomorrow God will work miracle-wonders among you.”
(The Message)
